I had already written off the characters and conflict before I had started playing this so it's not a huge deal to me, but I honestly couldn't tell you what was going on here. This DLC is a step in the right direction, but the Unity's gameplay issues are still a problem. To be honest the majority of the complaints I have with this DLC are the ones that I have with the main game. The gameplay is more puzzle oriented and the majority of the content takes place in France's underground catacombs.

This free bit of new content gives us another location to explore and a story that takes place after the events of the main game.

I played on the PS4 and I experienced 0 crashes and 0 fps drops.ĭecent DLC for a bad game. The story told was in my opinion very well done all though I was left with a question or two. Overall 8/10 For a free DLC it can hold its own More new gear such as armours and weapons would have been nice Sometimes Franciade feels a bit like a dark and gloomy Paris Way too man collectibles as usual in AC games. Amount of work needed to get the DLC weapons is annoying. In the trailer a face mask/ski mask was shown and I actually looked forward to that a great deal but it was absent from the DLC. A puzzle here and there is fine but it gets tiresome fast +Arno in my opinion really develops as a character and for me that was nice because I liked him in the main game.

+Guillotine gun was actually a lot of fun. +Well done cast of supporting characters throughout(Leon was very funny) Not the best overall story or combat, but best parcore and environment hands down.A very good piece of DLC in my honest opinion, the whole dark underground was refreshing to explore and the lantern is a good addition to Arno's equipment. Seeing the guards hold a gate while citizens press forward in the many many hundreds with straw men on fire is perfectly done. The cities have 3-500 NPCs as the revolution loops. It’s absolutely beautiful and very realistic. No huge open world with empty deserts or seas, no managing multiple cities… a 1:1 scale of Paris and a taste of important locations. Ideally they use this same style and go for a ghost or Tsushima or some mini game within the fighting to challenge us. Combat is a pretty generic and basic, but upgrades and a huge variety of weapon types give it enough to be enjoyed fully. The par core while over the top, it’s smooth and see less. Got all of them for under $70 total and they have all dlc.

That definitely it’s immersive seeing those huge oversized weapons and beams of light over the village you sacked lol.Ī return to the classics as I’m replying each title on my PS5 with their huge discounts before Mirage. Absolutely tedious and boring, not to mention beams of light shooting off any collectible into the heavens like a spotlight.

And once you kill everyone you hav to collect everything in sight to verify its quality. how about magic like Leonids kick or spawning creatures to your side. huge ridiculous 5 foot sword for each hand. 100+ lbs if armor climbing 150 foot walls with no grip, okay. I didn’t realize how much the RPG style ruined the AC titles. I beat all AC titles besides the smaller ones, the last couple sectors of Valhalla (I wanted to love it so bad) and this game. I was not a fan the first time I played around college, but I was enjoying a whirlwind of games that captured my interest at that time.
